Dinner Buffet @ New Lemon Garden, Shangri-La Hotel Kuala Lumpur

After an exciting facelift, the Lemon Garden at Shangri-La, Kuala Lumpur has officially opened! The restaurant serves up a wide  international buffet  spread of local favorites,  Japanese and Italian dishes topped up with a seafood galore. You will certainly be spoiled for choice while cruising down the isles for that special delight.

The Lemon Garden restaurant has undergone a major redesigned by Bond Design Studio Inc Japan. Now with a completely modern and contemporary layout scheme which simply gives the place a warm and spacious touch to it. Also diners will have the option to dine el fresco at the new garden terrace area, overlooking a koi pond and water fountain perfect for that cool days and bright nights.

Food wise there's no doubt a lot to choose from. From Asian and Chinese, right through to Westerns and Japanese staples. The Japanese section features a wide selection of fresh and thick slices of sashimi and sushi. Alongside a jam-packed seafood on ice counter that displays fresh oysters, scallops, crabs, squids, mussels and prawns and more. If fresh seafood is your thing then here's the place to be.

The Western theater kitchen also offers a handsome selection of cheese, salads, roast beef, glazed lamb ribs and quiche, whereas the pizzas are cooked using a unique wood burning oven and the pastas are made to order where diners can to customize their very own pasta styles and sauce. 

As for the Asian corner, there's hot tandoori oven that hosts authentic Indian dishes such as murtabak, chicken tikka, tandoori, naan bread, and Malaysia's favourite, roti canai. I highly recommend that you try the Nyonya Curry Noodles which is I would amazing 

As for the Chinese station a unique selection of dim sum and oriental specialties such as  Yong Chow Fried Rice, Roasted Chicken, Stir Fried Mushroom with Sea Cucumber is served. However the Double Boiled Black Chicken with Ginseng Soup stole the show. 

What really makes Lemon Garden perfect is the dessert spread with cakes and sweets like Coconut Pandan Hot Souffle, Ice Kacang, Waffles, Crepes, Chocolate Mousse Cake, Tarts, Eclairs and more come straight from the kitchen fresh and delectable. Our Favorite is the Chocolate fountain where you can dip and mix white and dark chocolate to your hearts content.

Overall if  you're in the middle of the city or visiting Shangri-La Hotel Kuala Lumpur then the new Lemon Garden restaurant should be on your list. Also in conjunction with the re-opening, the restaurant is having a BUY 1 and RM 1 for the second diner promotion (limited to first 50 diners per day), for the whole month of March. Now that's a Deal..!
