Top 5 Must Try Food in Paris, France
|Croissant from Angelina Cafe, Paris|
Just hop into any bakery or restaurants that serve croissant because Parisian croissants are simply divine ! I have never thought a croissant could taste so nice because the usual ones in Malaysia are quite much after the 2nd bite, probably because they use palm oil instead of pure butter to make it. However the Parisian Croissant is incredibly buttery, crispy and fresh. I could have this everyday without even thinking twice at all. Highly recommended !
2. Roasted Potatoes
Oh dear... If there's such thing as foodgasm, then I am telling you, I have it everytime have their roasted potatoes. It's not any ordinary roasted potatoes, it's the most flavourful and heavenly roasted potatoes, literally every bite is pack full of flavours. So my first roasted potatoes was from a butchery near our hotel and it was 'first-taste-love'. We were like asking each other, "how did they make it so flavourful" , "what seasoning did they roast it with" and etc while munching down the roasted potatoes. Then when we were at the parisian market, Marche Bastille @ Richard Lenoir, we found the secret to this flavourful roasted potatoes... and it's all about the chicken essence !
3. Baguette with Cheese
You don't have to get any fancy or expensive cheese to eat with the baguette. Just a simple slice of Enamel cheese from the supermarket will do. Put a slice or two of the Enamel cheese and some butter in between your baguette, and you'll be amazed with how it turnes out. The Enamel cheese just melt in your mouth like a slice of ham, giving a hint of saltiness to the baguette. I would say this is simply a simple and easy to-go food if you're running late.

Pack with all kinds of vegetables (tomatoes, zucchini, eggplant, bell peppers, onions and garlic). Super simple ingredients on this one but definitely super yummy. I had mine at Boulangerie Léonie, it's a small bakery on Rue de Lévis on the way to my hotel.
5. Eclair chocolate
If you have a sweet tooth especially for chocolaty stuff then do not miss out this dessert, the Eclair. What I love most about this is that every mouthful, I'll get chocolate sauce oozing out from it and the pastries wrapping around the chocolate sauce is so soft and airy. Simply delish !
