This review has been long time in the making, I got this Clarins White Plus Tri-Intensive Brightening Serum around December, but only started using it in January, 2 months ago and now makes it to my skincare staples. So I thought it's time to do a review on my experience of using it.
I have heard so many people in the beauty world talking about the brightening range by Clarins, even my mother has used it and she's loving it. So being a beauty junkie myself I naturally had to give this new Clarins whitening innovation a try. This new formula not only brighten but also a quest for translucency, that fair yet radiant skin for Asian women fighting against the over-pigmentation through the MELA-EXO-SYSTEM. It provides a 3 'C's of pure translucent skin : Contrast, Clarity and Colour.
Clarins White Plus Tri-Intensive Brightening Serum Review
Just a little heads up on my skin condition when I started off with the Clarins White Plus Tri-Intensive Brightening Serum, it was combination, slightly oil on the T-zone, not too prone to breakouts. So after using it for 2 months now, I have to say I do notice the brightening and healthy glow on my skin. It's always difficult to tell whether a specific skincare product makes a different to your skin as we always have at least 3 to 4 bottles of skincare products to apply daily. But to my surprise, even when I switch out some of my skincare to test with this, it works well too. My skin has been brighter than usual, the pigmentation on my cheek appeared to be less visible now.
I love the feeling of this on my skin, especially the scent of it, it's so pleasant and smells somewhat familiar but I can't seem to pinpoint the scent to anything yet... Texture wise, it could be slightly rich for oily skin but really nourishing, so to make sure it's not too rich on my T-zone, I would spend a little longer in massaging it in before slathering my moisturizer. If I'm having any breakouts during the time of the month, I would avoid applying the serum on that spot so that it wouldn't be too rich for that area.
This 30ml bottle of brightening goodness lasted me over 2 months and I'm still using it, not sure how much left tho, but based on the weight of it, I am guessing I'll have another month till the next purchase.
If you fancy for that Korean, Japanese-like translucent skin, do give Clarins Tri-Intensive Brightening Serum a try ! ;)
