5 Lip Products from Sephora.my
So today I thought I'd share the 5 different lip products with you...
You know by now that lips are the one area of my makeup where I wouldn't mind playing with some colors, and I have one red, two nudes and two pinks shades that I will be talking about today. Starting off with the swatched on the top, red WINKY LUX Lip Velour (#W heart). It's a wine red matte color, not too warm or too cool of a red, I would say it quite a wearable red that you can wear in the day and evening. The creamy texture glides on easily but do remember to scrub your lips if it's dry else you'll get quite an uneven application. Long-lasting ? I would say it's quite long lasting too, all I need is an extra application towards the evening and it'll keep my lips stained throughout the night.
If you fancy for a nude lips, I would suggest to give the Mirenesse Mattfinity Lip Rouge (2. Rome) a try - most left swatches. It offers a hint of pink, brownish nude color and plumped up looking lips, everything you need for that Kylie Jenner lips. The formula is incredibly creamy, felt pretty much like the more intense version of NYX lip cream indeed. And not to mention the interesting bubble gum smell and taste that makes me wants to eat it. ;P
The other nude I have (swatched on the most right) is the lip lube pencil by LAQA & CO. (The Lady Boss). The LAQA & CO. The Boss Lady is slightly lighter in colour for my skin and the formula is not as pigmented as the rest too. I would usually apply a pink or red lip tint on before swiping The Boss Lady on my lips so that it wouldn't look too pale on my tanned skin. But if you are on the fair side, this shade would be great for you to create that nude lips.
My most girly lipstick of all that I own is definitely has to be (second from the top), the MARC JACOBS Kiss Pop (606 Pop-Arazzi). To be honest, it looks kinda terrifying in the bullet, but the sweet candy pink shade can be swiped lightly over the lips, giving a hint of color or layer it up to create the popular Korean gradient lip makeup. If the MARC JACOBS Pop-Arazzi is too bold for you, Mirenesse Mattfinity Lip Rouge (8. Sydney - swatched second from left) is a great option ! The color is much more pigmented and darker shade of pink as compared to the MARC JACOBS 606 Pop-Arazzi. It is also slightly creamier in consistency like the Mirenesse Mattfinity Lip Rouge (2. Rome). I have to say I really enjoying the consistency from the Mirenesse Mattfinity Lip Rouge, one swatch is all you need, for sure ! <3
