L'Occitane The Divine Renewal Program Review (4 Weeks / 28 days)

I have just completed my L'Occitane The Divine Renewal Program, which claims to give you the divine skin in just 4 weeks (aka 28 days). Now it's time to have a closer inspection, finding out whether it's something or just another facial oil in the market. The Divine Renewal Program has a total of 28 capsules of concentrated Immortelle essential oil, the idea is to apply one for every evening.

L'Occitane The Divine Renewal Program
Divine Skin In Just 4 Weeks

To be honest, knowing that it's an oil-based product, I was very skeptical in trying or to even apply it on my face as I have been through the whole "breakouts and oil-based skincare" thingy. But surprisingly, compared with all the other oil-based skincare that I have tried, this probably is the only one that doesn't give me any breakouts not even one. It has the most 'true' dry oil formula, melting into my skin, working their magic without feeling too heavy on the skin.

L'Occitane The Divine Renewal Program Review (4 Weeks/28 Days) : Before and After.

After going through the 28 days of Divine Renewal Program, my skin is left looking glowy, healthy and supple. You may see the different from the Before and After photo above. I think it really worked it magic in cell renewal, you can't ask for more than that. ;)

Since there's 28 capsules, so it's one for every evening for the duration of 28 days. But I have to say it has quite a lot for one application even after applying it on face, neck and decollete. So what I will do is, pour half of the capsule and warm the oil in my palm, then apply it all over the face, neck and decollete, then let it melts and sinks into the skin for 5 minutes, and later on use up the remaining half and repeat the application all over the face, neck and decollete. With this way of applying, I notice, it has a better absorption, at least I do not feel it's too much of essential oil when I am applying it. If the amount is just nice for you, then you can skip the 2 times application method.

Apparently, there's different essential oil in each week's application and they serve different purposes too.

  • Week 1 Gentle Exfoliation : Pistacia Lenticus essential oil which encourages skin natural shedding process without aggravating it.
  • Week 2 Hydration & Nutrition : A blend of four plant oils, combined with Cistus essential oil to nourish and moisturise the skin.
  • Week 3 Balance : Myrtle and Rosemary essential oils which act in harmony to rebalance skin and promote its wellbeing.
  • Week 4 Renewal : Carrot, Dypress and Immortelle essential oils works tirelessly to prevent any sign of ageing.

At RM 588 / SGD 218 / $130 for 28 days application, honestly, I would definitely be mopping up a wayward tear at the checkout counter. I guess there's a price to pay to have that young and glowy skin. Anyway, just a note, for those that's below 40, it's advisable to do this Divine Renewal Program once or twice a year, whereas those that's above 40, every 3 months. So have any of you given this a go ? What do you think of the Divine Renewal Program ?
