If you’re an ice cream aficionado like myself then it’s most likely you’ve already heard about Sangkaya. For those not familiar with the artisan ice creamery, they are a premium coconut ice cream brand that makes their product fresh daily. From their signature ice cream, to their shakes, and now chendol, we’re pretty nuts about Sangkaya.
Nuts about Sangkaya’s Chendol
Sangkaya takes a new spin on the classic chendol by integrating coconut ice cream with strips of sweet coconut flesh, roasted peanuts with dripped gula Melaka, sprinkled with toasted coconut flakes. (yum!)
To tell you the truth, I’ve been a fan of Sangkaya ever since they first opened up their shop way back then. Since then, I’ve literally been nuts about coconuts. Although I’ll always be the Signature Ice Cream type of girl, the new chendol definitely packs a punch of its own.
