After all the bleaching and hair dyeing, I do have to admit that I am quite particular with my hair care routine now. In fact, sometimes I might spend a little extra just to discipline my bleached hair. Discipline ? Yup. Now that my hair is quite tangled up after washing, discipline is indeed the right word to use here. So the newly launched Kérastase Discipline Range has made its way into my bathroom.
KÉRASTASE DISCIPLINE Range : Daily Discipline for Unruly Hair
Kérastase Discipline Range has everything you need for in-house haircare from their hair bathe (aka wash) to hair treatment to last but not least the blow dry milk. And this Kérastase Discipline is the 1st range that facilitates Hair Management, making your hair much more manageable and easier to detangle. Okay, let's cut to the chase with my Kérastase Discipline hair regime.
In-wash : For in-wash, Kérastase Discipline offers 2 different bathe solution, which is the Bain Fluidealiste for all hair types & Bain Fluidealiste Sulfate Free format for very sensitive hair. I opt for the Sulfate Free as after all the bleaching and dyeing, I presume my hair falls under the sensitive hair category. If you do not dye or bleach your hair often, probably you can opt for Bain Fluideliste. The hair bathe smells was pretty pleasant and I sometimes mumble a little 'ahhh' to myself when I'm lathering up. After lathering up, I would usually massage it through for about 1 or 2 minutes, letting all the nutrients to be absorbed into my hair, then I'll just wash it off. Bain Fluidealiste Sulfate Free does a good job, in disciplining my unruly and tangled hair with just a wash. However, its recommended for you to follow by Kérastase Discipline hair treat, cause it would have a better result.
In-wash treatment : While you are still in the shower just spend a little more extra minutes in there for a little hair treat with Kérastase Discipline Fondant Fluidealiste (for fine to medium hair) or Maskeratine (for medium to thick hair). And again, since I have done so much bleaching on my hair, I've opt for the Fondant Fluidealiste treat, but sometimes, just when I feel like trying something richer, I would go for the Maskeratine. Just to let you know, the Kérastase Discipline Fondant Fluidealiste has lighter texture as compared to Maskeratine. I massage both into my hair, leave on for 5 minutes or so, then rinse and get on with my usual wash. Once you rinse out, you'll feel an instant smoothness on your hair and from there you'll know the product is doing its job well. :)
Post-wash : While things are still towel dry, I'll apply and massage a dollop of Kératase Discipline Keratine Thermique. It's the perfect cream-based blow dry treatment for injecting a good ol' dose of discipline to your hair, making them manageable and smooth. You probably will not feel like it has been absorbed but after blow drying your hair, you'll notice the difference. And don't worry, the Keratine Thermique doesn't leave a trace of grease behind.
Kérastase Discipline, a complete range to discipline your hair, are you diving in for some ?
