|Review of Dr. WU DD Cream|
I do have to admit, I am the laziest beauty blogger when it comes to makeup. If I could I would skip most of the makeup step and only do eyeliner and perhaps a little on my lips because I do not fancy the hassle of blending and blending foundation on face, although foundation is like the first step in putting on makeup. Trust me, I tend to skip the foundation step like most of the time, perhaps all the time. Well as Dr. Wu DD Extreme Hydrate Blemish Balm Cream comes into play, it has put a change into my makeup regime. A thin layer of this easily blended Dr. Wu DD Cream, eyeliner and a slick of lipbalm are all I need nowadays for a simple yet glowy makeup.
DR. WU D.D Extreme Hydrate Blemish Balm Cream Review
I am pretty sure most of you are aware of the BB Cream, CC Cream that have already made it's way in the market but both of these 2 are not so much of my cup of tea, and to my surprise this Dr. Wu DD Cream ticks all the BB and CC boxes...
A lighter texture than the usual BB Cream, solving the thick and cakey texture on my face after slapping it on and also the extreme hydrating properties that you can find in CC cream. I apply a pea-sized amount to the top of the Lumiere Diamond Puff (that comes along with the DD Cream) and blend away. It blends on my face effortlessly, giving me the glowy, glossy skin without the grease nor cakey-ness. The one shade available does look rather deceivingly lighter than my skin tone but as you apply it just blends on, creating natural looking coverage that also corrects skin complexion.
In terms of how it stands in the BB and CC Cream rankings, it certainly the combination of best of both world. This DD Cream formula by Dr. WU works great for dehydrated and sensitive skin, so dry and sensitive skin, you have a savior for those lazy, no make up days ! :)
