Sigma Beauty Gel Eye Liner (Unexpected - Grey)

Knowing that Sigma is known for its amazing Sigma Flat Kabuki brush (review at here), and out of the blue "How about Sigma's makeup products like eyeliner ?" thought pops into my mind. Then I was like why not give Sigma Gel Eye Liner a try since the brush is such a hit. So here I am talking about...

Sigma Beauty Gel Eye Liner (Unexpected)

I must issue a little disclaimer here that my "must-have" for eyeliner is pretty simple, which is waterproof, smudge-proof and of course pigmented ! So let's see whether the Sigma Gel Eye Liner is here to join the gang of the much raved Sigma brushes or the other way ... well, read on for that...

Sigma Gel Eye Liner comes in a tiny little pot which is pretty handy to carry around in my handbag. The gel eye liner texture is really soft and smooth, gliding on my lash line effortlessly. Tho I am still a bit rusty in using gel eye liner in a pot like this, as I have quite a shaky hand sometimes. But you can get the "teeny-weeny" E11 Sigma Eye Liner Copper Brush (review at here) to help you to draw the finest line and also reaching out to the inner corner of your eyes.

Sigma Beauty Gel Eye Liner (Unexpected) Swatch

Speaking about the color of the Sigma Beauty Gel Eye Liner (Unexpected), it's actually Grey in color. Even just playing around on the back of my hand I could see that the swatches created were pigmented, smooth and dried up pretty quickly. When I got the Unexpected "Grey" Sigma Beauty Gel Eye Liner pot in hand, I was rather confused on not sure how the color would turn out since I am rather conservative in my eye liner color. To my surprise, the Unexpected grey turned out to be quite Unexpectedly Pretty. Guess I shall give color liner a try... hmm..

The only downside I would say is the slight smudge on my lid after wearing it for long. Actually come to think of it, the smudges give a vague eyeshadow residue on my lid unlike the usual strong visible liner mark on my lid. So it can be taken as a problem or not a problem after all, since I do like the little "eyeshadow" like smudges, totally up to one's preference.

Confused ? Yeah it's a love hate relationship going on, I know. Well, why not get the Sigma Gel Eye Liner to try it on yourself since I have a special discount code for all of you. :)
