Katy Perry: Part of Me 3D.

Title : Katy Perry: Part of Me 3D
Language : English
Duration : 93 mins
Genre : Documentary / Music

This movie depicts the ups and downs of Katy Perry in the music industry, to be where she is right now. She was brought up as a gospel singer, by not knowing any song other than the religious song that she learned from church and her parents. As she moved to LA, she started to party and have exposure to different kind of music to express herself.

The music record company that has signed her, tried different method to bring her to the society, such as joining a band or trying to be the next Britney or Avril. However non of that turned out to be what she wanted, she wanted to be the new Katy Perry and there was where she started be who she is instead of being who others wanted her to be.

Once her song, "I Kissed A Girl" became a bomb on the billboard, people started to notice her and more of her songs started to hit the billboard within weeks. Then the California Dream Tour was born, she performed from place to place, having meet greet session for the whole year. When everything seems right, something else went wrong, which was her relationship with Russel has came to an end.

Music : Majority of Katy Perry songs was played throughout the movie which includes TGIF, Call a Doctor, Fireworks, Hot n Cold and etc. The 3D rendering of the concert stage and the confetti were remarkable especially the eye-popping bubbles during one of the performance. I literally felt like it right in front of me. >.<
Storyline :
The story tells most of the ups and downs of Katy Perry life as a star, how she started it off and standing tall after all the rejection, and making her way to where she is right now.
Humor :
There are teeny-weeny bit sense of humor in the movie during the interview session with her granny.
Emotion :
It gets very emotional when Russell left her and yet she has to carry on with the performance with a smile.
Verdict : This movie tells the whole story of the born of Katy Perry especially on the strength of mind she had in being true to herself, although there was once she was lost and started to do what others want instead of what she was inside. Towards the end of the movie, it gets very emotional due to the divorce of Katy and Russell. She had a minor breakdown during one of the performance but still she managed to put it up. If you are a fan of Katy Perry, there is no harm watching this movie. =)

P.S. The 5 second on stage could have taken more than 5 years of determination and faith.
I am not happy tho I am contented
